W. S. Carnes, Inc. current custom development is the Braxton Community, located in Chesterfield County.  This is a special niche development created for homeowners 55 and over.
     Braxton was developed as a response to the past customers of W. S. Carnes, Inc.  These customers, who are now "empty nesters", want to have a quality of lifestyle in a quality built home, without the responsibility of certain "home chores".  As a result of listening to our customers, maintenance free homes of brick, vinyl,  aluminum products and Andersen windows are being constructed.  We are also completely customizing house plans for individuals.
     The security gate house, lawn care, walking trails, well stocked fishing pond, flowering garden, and clubhouse allow individuals to enjoy a certain quality of lifestyle. 

     There is a monthly maintenance fee of $145.00.  This fee covers total lawn care, mulching, gutter cleaning, snow removal and common area maintenance.
